 If you plan on reaching Tasmania via the sea, chances are you'll catch the daily passenger ferry, Spirit of Tasmania at Station Pier in Melbourne and arrive 10 hours later at the Port of Devonport on the Mersey River. Devonport is also visible from the domestic airline flight path, which crosses the coast, usually from a height of around 10,000 feet. |
