Enchanted Woods is as magical as its name. Situated in the beautiful Huon Valley at Castle Forbes Bay, just sixteen kilometres south of Huonville over the bridge. With a panoramic view looking up the Huon River to the renowned Sleeping Beauty and Mt Wellington, the shop is situated off the road set amongst picturesque gardens and adjacent to an apple orchard.

Meet Sue, a lady wood turner. Sue started working with the beautiful Tasmanian timbers, such as Huon Pine, Black Heart Sassafras, Myrtle and Blackwood as a hobby in the late seventies and has progressed to a wood turner of distinction. Very much the artiste, specialising in one off unique pieces.

The shop showcases many a delight to the discerning buyer, wizards and dragons, collectables, crystals, faeries, copper art, stained glass, wood turning and wood articles of high quality, all at reasonable prices. Trading 7 days a week from 9am to 6pm and by appointment after hours.

What a special treat this is for those who appreciate finely turned Tasmanian bowls and gifts made from Huon Pine, including the treasured birds-eye Huon Pine, Tasmanian Myrtle, Tasmanian Blackwood, Sassafras, Leatherwood and a host of minor species that have been produced from the best materials by master craftsmen and women.
