ViewTasmania.com.au is a project to preserve an internet antique. That being the original view.com.au site which was developed by Roland Leitz, Alex Van Der Vusse and Kelvin Markham, has been operating since 1996. Recent changes to the company, Salamanca Promotions Pty Ltd, which owns the domain name view.com.au included a hostile takeover of other resources developed over a ten year period preceding incorporation of that company. In concern for the continued viability of the site and it's contents, widely regarded as an enduring example of many of Tasmania's early contributions to the web, the site is presented here for your perusal and enjoyment.
